Control Weeds

The Control Weeds course provides comprehensive information on weeds and their control. Completion of Control Weeds is required to obtain an ACDC licence in Qld. Completion of Control Weeds and Control Plant Pests, Disease and disorders is required for a spray contractor’s licence in SA and Tasmania.

How do the Smith & Georg online courses work?

The courses consist of a number of topics which have one or more video presentations, followed by an assessment. The assessments require you to answer questions based on the content in the video presentations and/or conduct small projects (i.e. weed identification). Read more...

It is expected that course participants will take approximately a ½-1 day to complete the Reaccreditation course, 1-2 days to complete the Accreditation course asn 1-2 days to complete the Control Weeds course. This time may be spread out over a number of days, weeks, or even months. Note the estimated time may vary depending your study methods.
