Pre-workshop Presentations

Thank you for enrolling to do the Chemical Accreditation course at a workshop.

If you are doing the course by attending a workshop, the workshop will cover the many aspects of handing and using chemicals safely and effectively.  If you don’t have a lot of previous experience with chemicals the workshop can be a little overwhelming; which is why we’ve prepared this ‘pre-workshop’ selection of presentations.

The presentations have been taken from the online Chemical Accreditation course, and have been selected to provide background information which will prepare you for the workshop.

You can watch all the presentations if you wish, or you can choose those that cover the topics that you know least about.

If there is anything in the presentations that you don’t understand, make a note of it and discuss it with the presenter at the workshop.  Alternatively, you can call us at the Smith & Georg office for a chat, on 1800 991 985, or email us at admin@smithandgeorg.com.au.

Note; we will post or email some Course Reading to you before the workshop, which will also help you prepare for the workshop; and you will receive the comprehensive Chemical Accreditation Manual at the course.

The Chemical Accreditation course includes assessments that are designed to assess your knowledge and skills in handling and using chemicals in workplace situations. There may be an opportunity to complete some of the knowledge assessments at the workshop. The remaining knowledge, and practical assessments, including videos to demonstrate skills, will take participants additional time after the course. This time may be spread over a number of days, weeks up to 3 months from the date of the course. Course fees may be forfeit for courses and assessments not completed within 3 months of course date.

Now to the presentations.  Just click the link below to see the list of presentations and click on the presentation that you wish to watch.  You can pause or exit a presentation at any time.
